And while the star-studded lineup was announced earlier this year, BBC One has now confirmed a start date for the 2021 show.

As filming took place in February, the show will be a little different as well, with John and Gregg recently confirming a format change.

What is the Celebrity Masterchef Format Change?
The judges revealed the only difference viewers will see due to Covid-19, and they’re pretty happy about it.
During the filming of this February in full confinement, John was no longer allowed to share a dish with Gregg while enjoying the celebrity food, which delighted them both, reports The Mirror.
“More plate sharing was just great,” said Gregg.
“MasterChef is now as common as the Expedition Forecast on Radio 4, but all I care about is having my own plate of food. “
