Dim Sum House celebrates Chinese New Year and Lunar New Year
Special menu, special cocktails, firecracker and lion dance
Jane Guo and Jackson Fu present a special Chinese New Year celebration at both Dim Sum House by Jane G’s in Rittenhouse Square and University City. Dim Sum House by Jane G’s are two of the largest and most recognized Asian and Chinese restaurants in the area – Guo and his family being in the restaurant industry with Chinese restaurants dating back decades in Philadelphia and on the Main Line and Western Suburb. This year, Dim Sum House will host one of its biggest celebrations ever at both locations, including the new downtown location.
Look for a special menu from January 30 to February 13. On Saturday, February 5, look for special Chinese New Year events highlighted by firecrackers and the traditional lion dance. The festivities will take place at 7:00 p.m. in Rittenhouse and 8:00 p.m. in University City that day.

Fishtown’s newest restaurant and cocktail destination offers cocktails and culinary specialties with special menus for Valentine’s Day weekend and Lunar New Year. Come celebrate Valentine’s Day weekend with a special three-course prix fixe menu for $75.00 with a complimentary glass of sparkling or rosé wine on Friday, February 11 and Saturday, February 12.
The Fin is one of the newest and biggest Chinese companies in Philadelphia – and they will be hosting their first-ever Lunar New Year and Lantern Festival celebration. On Monday, February 14, celebrate Valentine’s Day itself with a special Asian twist with a special Chinese-inspired prix fixe menu with signature cocktails and a chance to win prizes with a Golden Ticket cocktail. That night, enjoy a la carte cocktails and pair it with a special three-course feast for $65 per person. Le Fin will be adorned with Chinese lanterns, custom artwork and other themed decorations.
